About Quadrigis

Quadrigis Group, LLC, ("Quadrigis") founded by John Wyman, leverages research and operational experience from a multidisciplinary team of subject matter experts to provide tailored operational and consultative support to a broad range of stakeholders facing complex challenges related to terrorism, active assailants, workplace violence prevention, high-risk terminations, insider threats, school attacks, stalking, and harassment.

Prior to founding Quadrigis, Mr. Wyman completed an accomplished career in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).  From 2017 through his retirement in 2021, Mr. Wyman served as the Chief of the FBI’s Behavioral Threat Assessment Center (BTAC), housed within the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Units (BAU) in Quantico, Virginia, a world-renowned, multi-agency, multidisciplinary task force focused on the prevention of terrorism and targeted violence through the application of behaviorally based operational support, training, and research.

The term Quadrigis, meaning team or team up was utilized by the BTAC, along with “synergos” which means synergy and “ex moribus intelleges” which means through behavior, understanding as the three mottos for BTAC, summarizing well BTAC’s unique team approach to complex problem solving.  Quadrigis was created with an eye toward replicating these values and the broad array of BTAC’s unique services for the public and private sector to address todays evolving threat challenges.

Mr. Wyman joined the FBI as a Special Agent in 1998 and he spent substantially all his FBI career working on counterterrorism (CT) and targeted violence prevention. Mr. Wyman successfully led and managed numerous investigations and operations, resulting in disrupted attacks, mitigated threats, and arrest/conviction. Mr. Wyman served as Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) supervisor and the terrorism program coordinator (PCOR) in the FBI's Washington Field Office (WFO) and the FBI's Richmond Division.

Mr. Wyman worked as program manager within the FBI's Counterterrorism Division, served in a joint duty capacity at the Guantanamo Detainee Prosecution Task Force (GDPTF), and conducted numerous domestic and overseas deployments in support of FBI CT operations.  Mr. Wyman is a three-time recipient of the prestigious FBI Director’s Award (two for excellence in counterterrorism and one for training and development).
